Job Description:

Serve as an instrumental member of the Postal Operations team for their assigned region. This position will be tasked with performing daily review and management of postal operations KPIs including compliance, performance and management of delayed volumes. This position will identify trends in performance, positive or negative, call them out and action them by way of sharing best practices among other stations or correcting defective processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction – Conduct visits at local postal facilities and participate in meetings with local postal officials as the operational subject matter expert
• KPI Management – Regular review of performance reports for each station and enacting corrective action for defective stations and providing continuous improvement guidance
• Ad Hoc Analysis & Reporting – Perform analysis as needed to support performance reporting, checkpoint and meetings
• Troubleshooting & Planning – Monitor mail planning systems to identify potential issues and aid with station planning to mitigate impact
• Station Communication & Contact – Conduct stations visits and assessments; Serve as the first point of contact for questions and concerns from stations

Job Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in an analytical or postal related role
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
• 4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, may be accepted in lieu of a degree
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Familiar with cargo IT systems specifically Velocity Mail
• Must be able to obtain a USPS Postal Clearance
