Job Description:

The Airport Operations department keeps operations at our airports running smoothly through planning, organization and supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages a team of resource planning professionals responsible for running a daily resourcing operation covering thousands of airport operations employees
• Optimizes manpower resources across departments for each flight schedule to support the achievement of financial and operational objectives
• Responsible for short-term planning manpower delivery ensuring operational effectiveness and overall station personnel budget
• Proactively identifies opportunities to improve operational and cost performance
• Responsible for the implementation of resource planning best practice strategies and processes
• Works closely with departmental leadership to optimize manpower resources across the airport, while adhering to labor contract constraints and meeting or exceed service and cost targets
• Analyzes labor contract and potential service standard change and flight schedule change scenarios
• Works with operating departments to establish shift and vacation bids that reduce service defects while controlling costs

Job Requirements:

• Enthusiasm and passion for the airline industry and working in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline involving quantitative analysis
• 1-2 years leading a team
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Must be flexible and willing to work in an operation which may include weekends and holidays
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
• High level of analytical ability
• Strong, demonstrated team leadership skills
