Job Description:
The Finance department, which manages the company’s budgets, forecasts and investments, and provides analysis of our financial performance and strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all support functions are processed timely and accurately while all audit requirements are met
- Manage and process all payroll functions related to United employees while remaining consistent with Federal, State and Local requirements
- Research and provide guidance on issues while working cross functionally within the department and the company
- Work cross functionally within the department and within the company to drive process improvements and automation while staying up to date on all work groups and payroll guidelines
- Accountable for ensuring deliverables are met
- Hold self accountable for work
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Applies leadership skills to improve efficiency and accomplish operational and workflow objectives - Support a payroll staff responsible for high volume
- Assist with work flow and prioritization for staff to accomplish deadlines
- Coordinates and facilitates all functions related to all payroll processing for pay groups as assigned (such as Airport Services, Management, Non-
- Management, Dispatcher, Reservation, Pilot and Flight Attendant employees)
- Contributing, planning, organizing and processing with 100% accuracy
- Assist the Payroll Management Team in creating a winning team environment
- Daily communication with base locations to resolve problems and/or issues, answer questions timely, accurately and effectively
- Manage and handle special projects as assigned
