Taco Bell has been recognized as a leading innovator in the restaurant industry and even the business world. The Procurement Associate Manager must demonstrate the ability to manage supply chain functions related to signage, furniture, finishes and equipment including Smallwares, which include all building and material assets not related to food and paper for Taco Bell build-out. This position is responsible for an estimated:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Capture and communicate new specification approvals and changes to RSCS Equipment Purchasing, Equipment Sales, Resource Services and suppliers.
  • Communicate directly with the international team to ensure alignment.
  • Communicate effectively to drive alignment within project teams and across the organization on key milestones and decisions.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams with concept boards via presentation or newsletters regarding upcoming recommendations and programs.
  • Confidently present operational learnings and recommendations to Senior Leadership, and field teams with clarity and ease.
  • Develop a comprehensive FF&E supply plan for national launches by collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and distributors. This includes planning contingencies, capacity assurance, and manufacturing lead times to support timelines.
  • Develop strategy and programs for cost-effective delivery of FF&E into the Canadian market.
  • Develop, update and present project scorecard updates to the leadership.
  • Forecast ground-ups and urban location to ensure the timely delivery of FF&E to meet the built-out.
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback leveraging data to provide actionable insights and innovative solutions that balance design adherence and operational needs.
  • Serve as single point of contact for internal and external business partners including project teams, field construction managers, suppliers, distributors, procurement and leadership team.
  • Support team in reducing costs, lead times and leveraging RSCS support to extend system-wide.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field, Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in establishing, building and maintaining relationships ranging from manager to senior executive levels.
  • Minimum of 8 years of business experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Program Management, Logistics and/or Distribution.
  • Must have strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
  • Quick service restaurant experience desired.
