Job Responsibilities:
- Assure all work performed is in accordance with approved manuals, including the Maintenance Procedures Manual.
- Complies with all directives set forth by the Q.C. Manager – Field Services.
- Determine priorities of workload assigned.
- Monitor performance of vendor maintenance.
- Perform detailed audits of vendor completed paperwork.
- Perform necessary wizard transactions to document receiving of parts.
- Prepares support for recommendations that includes opportunity statement, definition of success/desired result, and break-even analysis (when necessary), and potential risks.
- Pursues changes to operational or analytical status quo that serve to increase efficiency and/or generate revenue (e.g. developing automation, creating new reporting, etc.).
- Train and provide technical support for vendor personnel.
Job Requirements:
- Able to read and comprehend Maintenance Procedures Manual, related documents, aircraft change orders, special items, logbook discrepancies and FAA Regulations.
- Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to work in a confined or cramped space for extended periods of time.
- Must be computer literate, WIZARD system a plus.
- Must have corrected 20/20 vision and adequate hearing to facilitate inspection process.
- Must have working knowledge of 737 aircraft systems.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Inspector experience with a 121 carrier preferred.
