Job Description:
- Develop high level time estimates for initiatives. Evaluate more detailed estimates provided by product teams and vendors. Lead Enterprise
- Architects in rationalization of cross-domain / cross-program estimates.
- Guide and influence estimation, task identification and sequencing pertaining to highly complex technical project activities.
- Identify and communicate which resources are critical to technical design and vendor system evaluation. Develop mitigation alternatives when resource constraints arise.
- Influence project objectives & guiding principles to align with enterprise architecture objectives.
- Participate in resolution of project issues and escalations as required.
- Review and evaluate system operational plans.

- Providing guidance and mentoring to Enterprise Architects.
- Responsible for guidance , coaching, and development for Solution Architects.
- Stay informed as to industry developments and utilize this knowledge to develop new solutions. Participate in or otherwise influence industry standard bodies & organizations.
- Understand and influence business requirements and strategies across the enterprise suite of products and enterprise programs.
Job Requirements:
- Advanced business knowledge to assess impact of applied technology on SWA business.
- Advanced knowledge of airline IT organizations and standard practices.
- Expert knowledge of computer or network systems hardware and software theory, practice, concepts and technology relevant to organizational vision.
- Intermediate knowledge of project management methodology.
- Expert level experience in a multiple technology areas and broad system-level experience across multiple computing platform and technologies.
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in Architecture, Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture preferred.
- Understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks – TOGAF, Zachman, FEA preferred.
Qualification & Experience:
- 3 years of experience in direct People Leadership with a demonstrated track record of growing People and building great Teams preferred.
- Ability to lead, mentor, coach and grow Solution Architects, Tech Leads, Senior Developers, and Peers in enterprise and solution architecture preferred.
- Ability to provide expert technical and Thought Leadership for the enterprise preferred.
- At least 10 years work experience in Business, engineering and/or Information Technology environment required.
