Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Audio/Visual Engineer to join the Southwest team. Senior Desktop Support Technicians serve as the central point of contact for IT questions, technical and hardware issues or requests for information. In this role, individuals will analyze problem trends and advise Management on appropriate resolutions necessary to make decisions and maintain optimum Customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a broad scope of operational support and Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) requests supporting the IT infrastructure in office environments, CS&S Centers, and airport locations.
  • Provides exceptional Customer Service to our Internal Customers.
  • Provides advanced bench repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and configuration of IT equipment.
  • Leads and guides others on projects and performing preventative maintenance on operational equipment.
  • Configures, installs, customizes, maintains, tests, and troubleshoots hardware systems independently.
  • May also mentor others in this area.
  • Provides packaging, unpacking, documentation, shipment, and receipt of equipment as needed for support of the enterprise.
  • Creates status reports for Leadership on Field installations.
  • Responsible for implementation and support of desktop and mobile devices, applications, peripherals, network devices, airline specific equipment (Kiosk, Flight Information Display Systems), public address systems, and time clock equipment.
  • Updates DASH cases.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability to maneuver within Active Directory (moving work station object).
  • Low Voltage cabling knowledge is required.
  • Must have an understanding of cabling infrastructure and its topologies.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must have demonstrated success with problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have basic project management skills
  • Must possess excellent Customer Service skills.
    Must have demonstrated the ability to troubleshoot and maneuver within Windows’ operating systems.
  • Proven ability using Microsoft Office Suite, Service Now Service Desk, and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). SCCM
  • experience should include assigning applications and knowing where particular applications are coming from.
  • Must possess excellent organizational, writing, and prioritization skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years PC Experience or equivalent knowledge on PC Repair required.
  • Minimum 3 years networking experience, installing and troubleshooting network gear required.
  • Strong Customer Service skills, experience interacting with everything from new hires to Senior Leadership, preferred.
  • Experience with audio-visual related systems (4-6 years of AV support), preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting audio-visual routing, Crestron control systems, and DSP devices, preferred.
  • Experience with video conferencing, unified communications, and collaboration platforms, preferred.
  • Experience installing, programming and troubleshooting Crestron integrated control systems, preferred.
  • Experience with live event setup, support and tear down, preferred.
