Job Description:

The Sales Operations Coordinator will focus on go-to-market initiatives in support of the Catering Sales Team and report to the Catering Sales Operations Manager. This role is responsible for territory planning and market sizing through developing an in depth understanding of overall market health, dynamics, and future plans. It is a cross-functional position, which involves working with key stakeholders in Sales, Operations, Marketing, IT, and Finance. Responsibilities also include working with Sales Leadership to analyze effectiveness of territory alignment and any needed client transitions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage territory alignment in Salesforce.com
  • Analyze location of sales reps sales and clients to verify effectiveness of territories
  • Analyze territories on an ongoing basis to continuously improve coverage and alignment
  • Assessment of reps progress toward goal
  • Calculate goal adjustments in cases of territory modifications
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of territory performance versus expectations
  • Configure territories for Catering Sales Reps to create the most productive selling units
  • Create onboarding ramp goals for new hires and provide these goals to managers
  • Cross reference data points from different sources to size Catering opportunity within markets
  • Ensure Catering Sales Reps are aligned to managers in the most impactful manner
  • Evaluate different variables to develop a predictive model of territory success
  • Facilitate transition of clients for new hires and/or territory changes
  • Present territory information with actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the sales and executive leadership teams
  • Recommend appropriate goals for both sales reps and sales managers based on market sizing

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage own workload, work efficiently, and meet deadlines
  • Bachelors degree
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, and business intelligence skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Salesforce.com or similar CRM system preferred
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, specifically strong in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience in developing, building and delivering quantitative metrics in a business context
  • Results oriented, attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple objectives and projects
  • Strong analytical and problem solving experience
