Job Requirements:
- Safety/Quality – Responsible for identifying and improving safety at the site through use of technology and participating in hazard identification and Help deliver world class quality by implementing poke-yoke and error proofing solutions to the factory via both hardware and software
- Change Management – Lead change at the site and must work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Project Management – Responsible for planning and executing multiple projects at the same time
- Automation – Develop solutions and lead automation improvements to the facility with implementation of key manufacturing process technologies including but not limited to robotics, vision systems, digital torque, pick to light, AMR/AGVs (Autonomous Mobile Robot/ Automated Guided Vehicle), moving/paced lines and other poke-yoke controls
Job Requirements:
- Ability to develop and read machine state programming, AOI’s and familiarity with ISA 88/95 preferred
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, self-motivated, having stress management capability and successful at managing multiple priorities and tasks
- Ability to select components along with prior experience developing Electrical Schematics using Autocad Electrical (required) or EPLAN 2022 (preferred)
- Knowledgeable of Lean Manufacturing Concepts and experience in a manufacturing assembly environment – need a foundation in lean manufacturing to ensure systems and solutions put in place improve an already lean process vs. automate a process of waste
- Motion, Vision Systems, and understanding of Networks preferred
- Ability to travel up to 20% (all within the Midwest)
Qualification & Experience:
- 1-5 years of experience in the field of Controls, Systems and Automation
- Experience with Programming with Ladder Logic and communication (Ethernet I/P, IO Link) protocols to support plant connectivity required
- AB software experience Studio5000 and FTview Studio ME required
