Job Description:

The Senior Analyst Onboard Experience Core reports to the Manager Product Development, and is a member of the Commercial team that is dedicated to delivering the best possible product at a reasonable price to customers. The team leads the customer experience for products, services and policies that impact any aspect of the JetBlue customer experience. The Senior Analyst is a customer obsessed marketing professional who is skilled at building and maintaining relationships at all levels within and outside of the organization. The Senior Analyst excels in a matrix environment, can change priorities to meet business demands, and is able to influence others without authority. The self-motivated individual is entrepreneurial and exhibits the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the existing onboard customer offerings (including complementary snacks and beverages, alcohol portfolio, Eat Up program, and Eat Up Café program.)
  • Manage complex budgets. Forecast onboard product usage and work closely with Provisioning and Supply Chain on inventory management
  • Stays up to date on industry trends by attending trade shows and food shows, and by conducting market research to seek out and identify new product opportunities and consumer trends/preferences that enhance the JetBlue brand
  • Develops new product enhancements and product refreshes, driving changes from inception through RFP’s and launch
  • Develop proposals, budgets, and sell in ideas to senior leadership
  • Lead Customer Experience Team. Plan and facilitate weekly cross functional meetings. Record meeting results and minutes to share with broader team and leadership.
  • Lead and maintain business partner relationships with existing and new snack, beverage and restaurant partners
  • Project manage and lead menu development for JetBlue’s entry into service for new long range service to London
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Available for frequent overnight travel (30%)
  • Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Ability to present to internal and external audiences, including senior leadership
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience developing and managing a budget
  • Experience working on large-scale cross-functional teams
  • Experience dealing and responding the Customer and Crewmember feedback
  • Experience managing Business Partner relationships, including reviewing and providing commericial feedback on contracts
  • Previous experience studying trends of onboard product preferences, partake in competitive flying
  • Understanding of airline consumer behavior
  • Demonstrated ability to use Customer/Crewmember feedback to enhance program/process/product
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) years project management experience
  • Two (2) years food and beverage or culinary experience
  • Advanced skills in Excel
