Job Description:

The IT Infrastructure Architect – Systems (PSS) is responsible for the design and implementation of server infrastructure for the PSS system as part of the PSS project. He/she ensures that the FZ hosted PSS system can cope with the rapid growth of flydubai in both size and complexity over the next 10 years. He/she ensures that the PSS system leverages the latest server infrastructure to provide a cost effective, safe and scalable solution for flydubai

Job Responsibilities:

• Report on the PSS server infrastructure related SLAs
• Define and document the PSS server infrastructure related SLAs
• Build of server infrastructure solution for FZ hosted PSS platform
• Monitor/Measure the PSS server infrastructure related SLAs
• Provide input to PSS DR system design
• Research and recommend innovative solutions for PSS server infrastructure requirements taking into account locally hosted, cloud and hybrid solution options
• Ongoing enhancement of server infrastructure solution for FZ hosted PSS platform
• Ongoing maintenance of server infrastructure solution for FZ hosted PSS platform
• Ensure that all PSS data is stored and backed up to ensure that in the event of a system failure, FZ data and system security is not compromised
• Implementation of server infrastructure solution for FZ hosted PSS platform
• Implement the PSS server infrastructure related SLAs
• Testing of server infrastructure solution for FZ hosted PSS platform
• Develop and document the relevant PSS server infrastructure SOPs

Job Requirements:

• BS or BA degree, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education, training or work experience
• Relevant HP and Cisco Certifications (Cisco CCNP or HP ASE)
• ITIL
• 15+years experience in IT server infrastructure design
• 10+ years experience in IT server infrastructure design in the airline commercial systems domain
• IT Technical system designer in at least 1 PSS implementation within the last 5 years
• 10+ years experience in IT server infrastructure design in the airline/aviation domain
