Analyst, Revenue Management Senior – Frontier Airlines Careers

Job Description:

The Sr Revenue Management (RM) Analyst is responsible for a combination market revenue maximization, process improvement, and team stewardship. Supporting duties include the monitoring/establishing inventory levels based on passenger loads, capacity, group bookings, and demand in order to maximize revenues through the use of forecasting tools and rules-based decision-support tools; identifying best practices and process improvement opportunities and designing solutions; and providing performance oversight for the team – guiding analysts in market approach as necessary. Performs at a higher level than the Analyst II, especially in regards to measurable results in Revenue KPIs; strategic approach to market management; ability to identify the need for, design, and implementation of process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team; and in stewardship of the team towards optimal performance management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Summarizes data and analyzes results; formulates, reviews, and presents conclusions; designs and implements relevant action plans
  • Maximizes revenues through seat allocation
  • Assists and leads analysts on setting up market/flight-level forecast and management strategies
  • Primary lead for teaching/training/developing and mentoring Revenue Management Analysts I & II
  • Optimizes and validates forecasted demand of select markets
  • Analyzes market influences, evaluates market performance and identifies market demand patterns
  • Audits, monitors, and refines individual progress toward market goals and strategies
  • Ensures that all RM software systems (PROS/Navitaire) are current with upgrades/technical issues
  • Audits effective usage in PROS of all influences, forecast accuracy and demand shifts

Job Requirements:

  • Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts and practices of RM theory
  • Ability to work under general direction with latitude in planning workload to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to efficiently summarize variances and present recommendations to upper management
  • Ability to produce high quality quantitative methods
  • Ability to handle confidential material
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to take ownership and deliver results
  • Eye for process improvement to create workflow efficiencies and output optimization

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Aviation Management or related field; combination of relevant experience and education considered in lieu of degree
  • Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Operations Research preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant revenue management roles
  • Previous knowledge and experience with revenue management systems
  • Prone to independently identify a problem area and sift through multiple data sources
  • Listens actively, learns, teaches and gives constructive feedback to analysts
  • Uses sound judgment and sets a good example
  • Experience with CRS systems strongly preferred
