Job Description:

Our Internal Testing team currently has an opening for a Core Banking Risk Internal Testing Partner. The role is based in Pittsburgh and surrounding area but will involve travel to other states within Citizens footprint. The purpose of this position is to conduct and lead a variety (remotely and onsite) of branch reviews throughout the Citizens Retail Branch network. The colleague will be expected to use various approaches such as data analysis, re-performance, inquiry, or observational testing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Risk Analysis: Identify, analyze, and conclude upon the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, with displaying an understanding of risks with regulatory expectations, compliance, and materiality. Knowledge of Risk as it relates to retail branches and a general understanding how to communicate and document noted exceptions.
• Ensure results are well documented, articulated and escalated appropriately. All documentation is complete and accurate and supports the conclusions made based on the test work performed.
• Executing standardized branch reviews which include completing test work remotely or on site at a branch (depending on assignment, 75% travel may be required locally or overnight within the Citizens footprint).
• Participating in department projects, initiatives or partnership meetings as required.
• Meeting minimum quality control standards and service level agreements on deliverables. Ensure professional, clear, and effective communication. Prepare, present, and distribute results; this may include communications to various levels of management and stakeholders within or outside Distribution.

Job Requirements:

• Proven ability to use critical thinking to make sound business decisions
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of risk awareness
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, including overnight stays
• 2+ years of Retail branch experience (Assistant Manager, Teller Manager or equivalent work experience)
• Knowledge of Retail branch operations
• Ability to work both independently and in a team and is self-motivated
• Preferred: Experience using Mainframe, TouchPoint and Oracle
• Proficiency with MS Office365, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• High-level attention to details and commitment to delivering quality work
