Job Description:

The IT Security Engineer works diligently to secure our organization’s information technology access. Will employ cyber security best practices, risk management techniques, and compliance assurance the confidentiality, availability and reliability of data, systems, applications and all information technology assets. In this role, the goal is to minimize, and elimination of cyber security risk associated with normal business operation. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory bodies, protocols and controls.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs required vulnerability scans, penetration tests
• User established information security frameworks (NIST, SANS) to keep the information security protection program
• Responsible for access controls and reviews
• Administer and monitor a networks, firewalls and cyber security systems
• Responsible for keeping an updated Disaster Recovery Plan and assure annual testing as required by business and regulatory bodies.
• Assist with the security reviews of third-party partners and vendors
• Serves as IT main contact for PCI DSS, SOX, ITGC compliance needs and reviews
• Responsible for associate information security assessment
• Serves as SME for information security events and incidents
• Responsible for the application of cloud security, on-premise application and end-point controls.
• Lead the redaction and implementation of information security policies and SOP’s
• Interfaces with Internal Audit in all cyber security and compliance initiatives
• Responsible for keep the Information Security Response process
• Monitor and respond to SIEM alerts
• Performs cyber security risk assessment. Keeps track of security profiles
• Work with vendors and outsourced partners to assist with data collection for audit purposes
• Responsible for the Information Security Policies and Practices

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in Retail, Restaurant, Manufacturing, Multi-unit business highly desired
• Hands on experience with the development and execution of disaster recovery programs
• Current CISSP or similar certification
• Proficient knowledge of security controls in systems and platforms – Windows, Azure, AWS, Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, Rapid 7, Kaspersky and similar tools
• Deep knowledge of GRC, PCI, SOX, ITGC compliance and other compliance frameworks
• Keen understanding of cybersecurity threats and hacking methods

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience as Information Security Engineer/Engineer
